Active Angel Investors ("AAI") is a formal membership network of accredited investors who provide guidance and funding to early-stage opportunities in the mid-Atlantic region. (See AAI Portfolio) Members are not just investing their money in start-ups; they are investing their time and expertise to help companies grow. Through active participation, members help entrepreneurs with strategic decision-making, financial guidance, and industry connections.

Members subscribe to Active Angel Investors on an annual basis. The Active Angel membership meet eleven times over the year to consider two or three investment opportunities per meeting. The network considers exclusively pre-institutional, early-stage investments, and typically lead the financing rounds. The greatest gap in the funding food chain in today's market is seed-stage - the sweet spot for Active Angel Investors. After viewing a companies presentation, members self-select to join investment LLC's within the Active Angel Investors network.
