In 2003, NVG created Active Angel Investors (AAI), a network of angels in the Wasington, DC area who are committed to the success of their portfolio companies. AAI members mentor entrepreneurs, serve on their boards, provide contacts, and assist in all aspects of helping startups to grow and thrive. More than 100 angels have made investments in 26 AAI portfolio companies. Two or three early stage companies present to AAI members at monthly meetings.
